前几天收到了TINTIN有关于这个连接.是关于奥运圣火传递的活动http://mto.age.com.hk/2008/04/08/245.内容是用布落格来传递”圣火”.在真实生活中的圣火传递面对重重困难还有西藏问题被炒得沸沸洋洋的当儿.在网上的这个活动显得象是一股清流.因为能让大家平民式地参与到圣火的传递.也能听到网上大家不同的意见.

要说到这次的奥运圣火.恐怕已经不能跟西藏问题切割了.原本个人真的对于这些僧人发动爆乱伤害无辜的举动很唾弃.但是这几天要下笔写这布落格圣火的时候就有点另外一些看法了.毕竟的西藏的暴乱暂时不会出现什么大变化了.目前就是圣火传递的困难.或者说会遇到的阻碍.

我想通了后.就突然觉得很好笑.

是哪个笨蛋规定说:"奥运圣火绝对不可以被熄灭,即使一秒钟也不行!"的?

'圣火'不就也只是一个形式?圣火的传递不就是奥运精神的传递?难道.真的那么神圣到不能被熄灭一秒钟那么严重?难道有人24小时跟拍圣火的燃烧.一旦圣火被熄灭一秒钟,明天报纸上就会用红色大字写上<奥运圣火灭了!!>?难道圣火被熄灭了一秒钟就是代表中国举办奥运会的失败?难道奥运圣火一旦被熄灭了就永不超生?难道奥运精神那么脆弱.经不起一秒钟/一分钟的考验?

大家心中的答案应该都是"不"的.

即使你反对中国北京举办奥运会.即使你对于中国政府压害西藏人有着强烈的不满.你能够对于以上的问题说声:"YES"吗?那么.当中国奥运圣火被熄灭的那一秒钟.请大声地告诉全世界:"他们把圣火弄灭了,奥运精神被中国人毁掉了!!"站出来抗议吧.把旗帜和口号挂上吧.试图把圣火熄灭吧.中国奥运圣火熄灭的那一秒钟.请你大声喊:"我们成功了!"

作为华裔子孙.我对于奥运圣火的传递也相当关注.但是.今天.我的想法是.即使奥运圣火发生什么事.也不是阻碍我们支持北京奥运会的力量.

别再对于圣火的传递作出太多的保护了.别让奥运圣火在重重的警卫下传下去.别让奥运圣火只从一位政商名流传到另一位明星的手.奥运精神如果那么脆弱.那么它就不值得我们那么崇尚.奥运圣火如果那么没有精神价值的生命力.那么真正的奥运圣火早就已经熄灭了.

当奥运圣火熄灭的那一秒钟.我们别想别的.就.将它再点燃.再把它传递到下一个人的手中.

Below is a limited English translation of what I’ve written with limited Chinese. I really hope that my idea and point of view can get towards more people, thank you.

There is this little blogging event that is going around bloggers in Hong Kong. http://mto.age.com.hk/2008/04/08/245. It is an event to pass the Olympic torch through bloggers. In the mix of the issues surrounding Tibet, this blogging event gives a breath of fresh air. As everyone can participate on it evenly, and voice everyone’s opinion on the sacred fire.

To separate issues of Tibet from the sacred fire seems impossible now. At first, I was much annoyed by the fact that monks are rioting upon innocent people in Tibet. But down these few days while I was trying to figure out what I should be writing about in this ‘torch blog’, I had a different point of view on this matter. Well, first of all, as the riot condition in Tibet is currently quite contained, the main matter now would be the passing of the torch. Or should I say the problems faced in passing the Beijing Olympic torch.

It was all of a sudden, everything seemed hilarious to me.

Who was the idiot to state the rules that “the Olympic sacred fire shall never be put out, not even for one second”?

The sacred fire is but all a formality. Isn’t the passing of the sacred fire supposed to be a symbol of the passing of the Olympic spirit? Is it so sacred that if it stops burning for one second, it will be such a catastrophe? Is someone watching 24-7 over the sacred fire that if for one second it stops burning, it will be on CNN headlines? Is it so that if the sacred fire stops burning for one second that Beijing’s hosting of the event will be a complete failure? Is it so that if the sacred fire stops burning will remain ashes forever? Is the Olympic spirit so fragile, that if cannot withstand one second / one minute?

I guess the answer to most people would be a simple “no”

Even if you are opposing Beijing hosting the event, even if you have complete hatred towards the cruel Chinese government, would you be saying “Yes” to the above questions? Then if the sacred fire of the Beijing Olympics stops burning for one second, please shout to the whole world:”They put it off; the Chinese ruined the Olympic spirit!!” Get the protests going, hang the flags and banners, try to put off the sacred fire. And yes, if the sacred fire of Beijing Olympics stops burning for one second, please yell:”Yes, we did it!!”

As a Chinese descendant, I do keep an eye on the event. But today, I have a different point of view. Whatever happens during the passing of the sacred fire, will not stop us from supporting the Beijing Olympics.

Stop protecting the sacred fire so much. Stop putting so many securities around the sacred fire. Stop passing the sacred fire from one politician to another celebrity. If the Olympic spirit is so fragile, there is nothing so special about it. If the sacred fire has such a low spiritual value, then it has long stopped burning already.

When the Olympics sacred fire stops burning for one second, think nothing else, just light it up again, and pass it on.
